WHAT IS MY PURPOSE?
We all want to know the answer to that question. We search for it everywhere: our jobs, our families, our friends, our favorite cause to champion. But no matter how hard we try, unless we’re looking to Jesus to find our purpose, it falls short every time. As Christ followers, we don’t have to wonder anymore. When we choose to follow Jesus, He redefines what our lives are all about and gives us a purpose. You were made on purpose and for a purpose.

We all want to know the answer to the question:
What’s my purpose? Why am I here?
Through Jesus, we find our answer. When we choose faith in God, He begins to shape our lives, teaching us who we are and what we are living for (Ephesians 1:11-12).
Jesus tells His followers, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20). This command teaches us God’s will for our lives (Hebrews 13:20-21).
The Bible tells us that we were made on purpose and for a purpose by a God who sees us, knows us, and loves us (Psalm 139). As God’s Word, it gives us everything we need to live a life on purpose, one that glorifies Him (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
The Greek word used for “Go” in this verse more accurately translates to “as you go.” So, as you go to the store, work, a family function, the movies, a football game, on a trip...take Jesus with you! (Colossians 3:17; 1 Peter 4:11)
By sharing Jesus’ love, truths, and commands with others, our lives have an eternal impact. Our purpose as Christ followers is to make the Kingdom of God crowded. And we have the opportunity to live this out everywhere we go every single day (1 Corinthians 10:31).
How we live out that purpose is unique because we serve a creative God who made us all uniquely. You are created on purpose and for a purpose! We hope you feel empowered to live out your God-given purpose today (Ephesians 2:10; 1 Corinthians 12:14-20).
Jesus says that each of us are members of one body. That every Christ-follower has one unified purpose: to glorify God with our lives and tell others about Him (1 Corinthians 12:12).
